Ghana's Construction Market Records 5.1% Annual Building Cost Inflation

On 27 October 2026, Ghana Statistical Service reported that building costs increased by 5.1% year on year in September 2026. Reinforcement costs increased by 29%, plumbing costs by 27.5%, while cement prices declined by 6.1%. These figures provide a current cost reference for property developers, construction contractors and real estate investors.
