Kathmandu Valley Water Project Advances Three Construction Packages Worth NPR 5.32 Billion

On 28 October, the Project Implementation Directorate of Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited published notices of intention to award three packages under the Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Improvement Project Phase 2. The evaluated bid amounts, including provisional sums and 13% VAT, were NPR 1.684 billion for Bhaktapur, NPR 1.221 billion for Kirtipur and NPR 2.415 billion for Madhyapur Thimi, giving a combined value of approximately NPR 5.32 billion. These are intended contract award amounts, not evidence of completed payments.
