Botswana and UN Economic Commission for Africa Agree on Health Financing Reform

On 29 October, the UN Economic Commission for Africa and Botswana agreed on a health-financing reform roadmap, including a Joint Technical Working Group and an initial 100-day action plan. The initiative aims to improve health expenditure efficiency, budgeting and coordination so public investment can deliver better healthcare outcomes. No dedicated project budget was announced.
